Sample Workshops
Customized In-service: This program provides training for teachers within the content strands, offering problem solving, manipulative use, games and Everyday Mathematics. Based on your needs, a consultant will visit monthly or weekly from September through April. Each day will includemodellessons within a classroom working with students and an in-service timedesigned for teachers.
Title One: Are you looking for a real value for your Title One dollars to give your teachers new, innovative ways to teach math standards? This workshop will equip you to better help your teachers facilitate the understanding of mathematics with use of manipulative, trade books, games, songs, movement and more.
Sample Activities
Geometry: From a square to a cube, clock rotations with angles, etc.
- Measurement: Place value and metric system
- Numeration: Number grid , number scroll, fraction percent concentration, any game
- Operations and Computation: Clock Fractions, basic facts tricks, finger five tricks, any game
